About Ilse Dekker

I am a communication manager and advisor with almost twenty years of experience in governmental and semi-governmental institutions as well as in commercial businesses. Because of this, I’ve gained a lot of experience in:

Experience

I obtained my master’s degree in International Business Communication at Radbout University Nijmegen.

Subsequently, I worked for six years as a communications consultant for Ernst & Young Consulting and, later, for Conclusion Communication. In 2003, I started working as head of marketing and communications at the international law firm Simmons & Simmons Trenité. From 2006 until 2010, I worked as head of communications at the Zaanstreek-Waterland police department.

Then I decided to start working as an independent communications consultant and interim manager, which has already resulted in many fun and varied jobs.

Thanks to my broad experience in various positions, I am available for a wide range of jobs at different companies. I’ve gotten to know the political world as well as the administrative world very well, and have created a large business network as a result.
